Partners
It is our desire that you are blessed and prospered by the Almighty God in all ways. To this end, we have created opportunities and channels of blessings for you and your family by inviting you to partner with one or more of our ongoing projects. Being a partner at Sheepfold simply means making periodic financial and other commitments to a particular project(s).
Projects you could support at Sheepfold Chapel
Sheepfold Chapel is a ministry with a passion to ‘rescue the perishing and care for the dying’. We achieve this goal by preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This project aims at preaching and teaching the gospel through the power of multimedia. It involves beaming messages preached by Rev. Richard Otu on Radio, Television, You-Tube and the internet. The project is responsible for developing and managing a Sheepfold Chapel website as an interactive medium where messages preached and taught could be downloaded both electronically and in print. The website shall receive prayer requests and will host Biblical discussions and edifying debates. The project intends to deliver live Christian programs on TV to be hosted by Rev Otu. Preaching programs on Radio will invite phone calls for prayers to be delivered to the sick and afflicted. This project will deliver great value by attracting unbelievers into the Kingdom of God, sustaining believers globally and by increasing the membership of Sheepfold Chapel.
As a Church, we believe in loving one another and taking care of each other’s needs as Christ taught. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God. 1st John 4:7. This project aims to sustain Sheepfold’s determination to rejoice with those who rejoice and to mourn with those who mourn as commanded by the word of God in Romans 12:15. Your partnership of the General Welfare project will ensure the achievement of the following: Regular visitation by leaders and members of the Church and financial contribution to members when bereaved (parents, siblings, spouses, children, in-laws ) during celebrations and special occasions (Engagements, Weddings; Childbirth) and during children’s birthdays.
Sheepfold Chapel has a moral and social responsibility of showing compassion to society as amply demonstrated by Christ. Jesus fed 5000 people in a seemingly impossible environment (desert place) using five loaves of bread and three fish. This project aims at engaging the attention of the poor, the needy and the distressed by providing them with a facility that provides them hot meals, coffee, tea all-day long. The facility will gladly receive drug addicts, alcoholics, street children, the lonely, the neglected, and the elderly and provide them with food. They will afterwards be engaged by our counselors who will open up to them and obtain their friendship. The rapport to be established with them will be progressed and sustained till they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Master. At another level, school dropouts will be encouraged to go back to school; the jobless will be packaged to seek jobs, and those lacking basic life skills will be trained. The project requires your support to pay the cost of food and drinks, expenses of counselors and trainers and other operational expenses. The project provides life-time skills to beneficiaries and opens avenues of blessing to Sheepfold.
What does it mean to become a partner?
Being a partner in Sheepfold Chapel is all about dependably supporting a specific project or projects financially and prayerfully. More than just attending church services or church programs, it means considering yourself as an integral part of the Sheepfold family, as where your treasure is, there will also your heart be.
Why should I become a partner?
God expects us to give in support of his work. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38
In order not to burden the church, the projects and need to be supported by willing and capable Sheepfold members. Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness 2 Corinthians 9:10
Partnering one or more of the projects will yield partners great spiritual returns and exceeding reward. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. Hebrews 5:10
There is a specific blessing or reward coming to you as a result of your generosity. The liberal soul shall be made rich: and he that waters shall be watered also himself Proverbs 11:25
We are commanded to support and prioritize the kingdom of God. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all shall be added unto it Matt 6:33
